The overall mission of the Medicines Unit is to promote rational, safe, and cost-effective medication use and optimal medication management throughout the entire care chain. The mission includes clinical pharmacy in primary and inpatient care, pharmaceutical committee work, patient safety work, as well as practical hospital pharmacy services, such as medication service, production of inpatient doses, ward pharmacy, and manufacturing of cytostatics.

We are now looking for you who are a registered pharmacist and have a strong interest in working in a healthcare environment at the hospital in Bollnäs.

Job Responsibilities

Your duties will consist of healthcare-related medication work on the hospital's care wards as well as medication supply. For example, talking to patients about their medications, preparing medications for inpatients, ordering and restocking medications in the medication stores, and answering medication questions from healthcare staff. We will adapt your duties in dialogue based on the care's needs as well as your competence and experience.

In the role of pharmacist, you must:

• Be a registered pharmacist
• Have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.

Experience working with ward pharmacy or medication supply at a hospital pharmacy is meritorious.
