About the role

We are now looking for an engaged and knowledgeable Welding Supervisor who wants to play a key role in developing and ensuring the quality of welding processes in a modern production environment with one of our clients in Sjöbo. This is a role for you who want to combine operational work with responsibility for structure, quality, and development – and who thrives being a central function in production. As a Welding Supervisor, you have overall responsibility for the welding area. You lead and follow up on the daily work in the department, while ensuring that processes, routines, and documentation meet current quality requirements according to ISO 3834-2. You work both strategically and practically – from developing working methods and training staff to participating in production yourself when needed.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure that welding data sheets, instructions, and documentation are up-to-date and followed
• Follow up and document welding work according to quality requirements
• Ensure that welding personnel have the correct training and certifications
• Report deviations and work actively on improvements
• Contribute to flexible production through competence development and cross-departmental collaboration
• Support production through operational welding work when needed

Your profile

You have a solid background in welding and feel confident in both the practical craft and working with quality and processes. You are structured, solution-oriented, and have a natural drive to improve working methods and develop both the business and colleagues. You who apply have:

• Experience with TIG, MAG (incl. tubular wire), and Orbital welding
• Knowledge equivalent to IWE, IWT, or IWS
• Experience with machining (drilling, threading, cutting)
• Good reading of drawings and metrology skills
• Good Swedish and understanding of English
• Computer skills as well as a B driver's license, forklift, and overhead crane certificates

It is meritorious if you have:

• Certification in VT-2 and/or PT-2
• Valid welding certificates (preferably stainless steel)
• Experience with improvement work (Lean/Six Sigma)
• Leadership experience
• Experience with business systems (e.g., Monitor)
