On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a Workshop Technician with CNC skills in Lund, starting around June 22nd. The position is a fixed-term employment until November 30th with a possibility of extension. During the assignment, you will be employed as a consultant through us at Emploid. We conduct continuous selection, which means the position may be filled before the application deadline. About the role
As a Workshop Technician, you are responsible for supporting prototype manufacturing and the development of new technical solutions through practical expertise in manufacturing technology. The role involves providing technical feedback, suggesting improvements, and contributing to the development and optimization of prototypes and production methods.
More specifically, the role entails:
- Operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC machines as well as other workshop equipment
- Supporting prototype manufacturing and evaluating new technical solutions
- Providing feedback and suggestions for improvements regarding manufacturing, functionality, and production processes
- Collaborating closely with design and development teams to ensure efficient and practical manufacturing solutions
- Driving, coordinating, and prioritizing the workshop's work orders together with the team to ensure an efficient workflow
- Contributing to continuous improvements of workshop processes, equipment usage, and working methods
About you
We are looking for someone who is technically interested, self-motivated, and has a natural understanding of how machines function. You are a problem solver who takes responsibility for your work and sees solutions rather than obstacles. Attention to detail and quality awareness are second nature to you, and you always strive to deliver details with the highest precision. You should also have analytical skills and be able to suggest improvements and evaluate technical prototype manufacturing.
Requirements for the position:
- A few years of experience working in manufacturing or similar industrial operations.
