About the Role

Ikett Personalpartner is currently looking for a skilled welder for one of our clients in Skurup. Do you have an eye for detail, pride in your craft, and enjoy working with large vehicles? This might be the right opportunity for you. Here, you will become part of a tightly knit team where quality, safety, and professional pride are at the center. The role involves varied work where you build, adapt, and reinforce structures for heavy vehicles – always with a focus on precision and durability. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Welding chassis, frame structures, and components for heavy vehicles
• Working with various welding methods, such as MIG/MAG, TIG, tubular wire, and stick welding
• Welding in different materials, primarily stainless steel and black metal
• Repair, reinforcement, and customization of vehicles
• Interpreting drawings and working according to technical instructions

The work is scheduled during daytime hours. Start date according to agreement.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in vehicles and are ambitious, positive, and curious about the properties of metals. You have education in the field or previous practical experience in welding. To thrive and succeed in the role, we would like you to have:

• Experience in welding, preferably from working with heavy vehicles or within the industry
• Good knowledge of and/or MIG/MAG, TIG, tubular wire, and MMA/stick welding
• Ability to read and work from drawings as well as technical documentation
• Basic workshop skills, such as drilling and assembly
• Experience in assembly work

You collaborate well with others, contribute with a positive attitude, and have a strong focus on quality in the work you deliver. If you also have knowledge within hydraulics and electricity, it is highly meritorious. A Category B driver's license is required.
