The Technical and Property Administration is responsible for the municipality's premises, properties, and technical infrastructure – from planning new construction projects to operation, maintenance, and development. We work with water and sewage, facility maintenance, land service, transport, and vehicle service. Our goal is to build and manage sustainably and in a climate-smart way to ensure a safe and functional everyday life for the residents of Botkyrka. We are approximately 300 employees who, in our various roles, work on solutions based on citizens' needs and the municipality's common goals.
About the assignment
Botkyrka Municipality is opening new premises in Fittja Center, and we are now looking for employees who want to be involved from the start. The premises are part of a new way of working where several administrations share the spaces, which means that structures, routines, and ways of working will to some extent need to be shaped and developed on site. As an Internal Service Assistant, you are a key person in our operations and contribute to creating a well-functioning and welcoming work environment every day. You are often the first point of contact – the face outward – and play an important role in giving a professional and positive impression to both visitors and colleagues.
At the same time, you have a central role in making our internal flows work smoothly. With your sense of structure and service, you ensure that administration, orders, and other important functions run efficiently.
This is a role for you who thrive with variety, appreciate many contact surfaces, and are motivated by making a difference in daily work. You have an important function as a "spider in the web" and move around a lot in our premises, where you contribute to creating a pleasant and well-functioning environment. The role involves some administration, but the focus is on being responsible for our premises – which includes, for example, ongoing maintenance of the pantry (e.g., dishwashers and coffee machines), simple cleaning of toilets and common areas, arranging furniture and textiles, and repairing or reporting minor defects in equipment and furnishings.
Tasks
In the role, you will among other things:
- Be responsible for the reception and provide professional treatment to visitors and employees
- Be responsible for office premises and pantry, some facility maintenance is included
- Handle mail, packages, and incoming deliveries
- Coordinate orders and office services
- Contribute to structure, planning, and development of working methods
- Be an important contact point between different functions
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
- Experience in administrative work, preferably in combination with service, reception, or internal service
- Experience in practical service work where you have independently been responsible for order, premises, and ongoing tasks
- Good familiarity with working in digital tools, such as the Office package
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and see what needs to be done
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
It is meritorious if you have experience from public sector operations or a similar service function.
