Job Responsibilities

Are you passionate about providing people with the safe and high-quality care they deserve? We are now looking for an engaged and competent nurse who wants to become part of our wonderful team at Hemlingborg Care and Residential Home. Here, you will not only have a job; you will have the chance to truly make a difference in people's daily lives, health, and quality of life.

As a nurse, you work to promote health and prevent illness to strengthen the patient's well-being. You are responsible for medical assessments, precise documentation, and registration in relevant quality registers. The role also involves identifying development needs and leading improvement work to raise the standard of care. Patient rounds take place at the listed health center with the responsible physician. HSL documentation is done in Treserva, planning in TES. Lifecare is used as communication between care providers.

Your duties include, among other things:

• Performing health and medical care interventions.
• Serving as the responsible nurse for a number of patients at the facility.
• Performing and planning medical assessments and following up on care interventions.
• Sampling, infusions, wound care, and end-of-life care.
• Working in a team with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and physicians.
• Participating in our consulting operations during evenings and weekends.
• Mentoring and delegating nursing tasks to staff and students.

The position is primarily daytime work, but the schedule includes evening and weekend shifts. During these times, you will work in our consulting operations, which cover the municipality's care and residential homes, home healthcare, and service and group housing within LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and social psychiatry.

Qualifications

You are a confident and experienced nurse who wants to work in an elderly care facility because caring for the elderly is meaningful and important. Here, you as a nurse can contribute your knowledge and provide care to our patients.

We are looking for you who:

• Are a licensed nurse.
• Have experience working in elderly care or similar healthcare settings.
• Have a valid B-class driver's license and driving experience.
• Have a good ability to make independent medical assessments.
• Are confident in handling medications and are accustomed to documentation, preferably in Treserva.

To succeed in the role, you are:

• Have good communication skills and a professional attitude towards patients.
• Have an interest in quality work and the development of care processes.
• Are flexible and can adapt to the varying needs of patients.
