About the role

We are now looking for experienced warehouse assistants with documented experience of both reach trucks and/or counterbalance trucks for our client. Depending on the assignment, other tasks may also occur, and the work takes place in several departments involving manual work and physical lifting.

Therefore, we would like you to have good physical fitness and strength to be able to handle the tasks throughout the season. At our client's site, you will first receive training in different departments before you get the opportunity to drive a truck in the area.

Since the work involves handling and moving heavy goods, it is important that you are careful and a safe truck driver who handles both the truck and the goods in a safe and secure manner. It may also occur that trailers need to be unloaded manually.

Our clients have varying working hours and are geographically located both in central Jönköping and in surrounding logistics hubs, such as Torsvik and Södra Stigamo.

Your daily tasks and areas of responsibility may include:

• Receiving and dispatching, which will make up a large part of your work.
• Driving reach trucks, counterbalance trucks, or order pickers.
• Loading and unloading goods.
• Efficient stacking and storage of products and racks.
• Performing other tasks related to terminal operations.

About you

We are looking for you who have experience driving trucks and feel confident loading and unloading goods. Since the work involves a fair amount of independent responsibility, we value that you are structured and good at planning and prioritizing your tasks. You are flexible and have a positive attitude towards different tasks, while understanding the importance of striving for personal development. Our goal is for you as a warehouse assistant to continuously strive to increase your own efficiency.

Requirements for the position:

• Good computer skills
• Truck license type A-B (certification)
• Advantageous if you have experience with long forks
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

Ambulatory Consultant:

You are employed by us at DFDS Professionals but work out at our clients. Being an ambulatory consultant means that you are employed by us at DFDS Professionals to perform work in client companies, where the workplace, working hours, and tasks may vary within an agreed service area.
