AniCura Animal Hospital Jönköping is the region's largest animal hospital and a well-renowned referral center for advanced surgery. Around 100 employees work here across several specialist areas, including surgery, oncology, dentistry, dermatology, and ophthalmology.

We offer a high medical standard and work with modern equipment such as CT, ultrasound, endoscopy, arthroscopy, and C-arm. Our surgical department maintains a very high standard with four spacious operating theaters for advanced surgery as well as a separate emergency operating room – creating the right conditions for both patient safety and professional development.

We are looking for you who are an experienced surgeon and want to continue developing together with a competent and engaged team. The role involves close work in the surgical department where you perform advanced surgical procedures and contribute your competence and experience to colleagues and the business as a whole.

You will collaborate closely with other specialist areas, such as oncology, to create the best possible care for our patients. For those who wish to take the next step in their career, there is also the opportunity to combine the clinical role with greater responsibility as the department head veterinarian for the surgical department.

• Are a licensed veterinarian with several years of experience in surgery

• Have solid competence in soft tissue surgery, preferably also orthopedics

• Have specialist competence in diseases of dogs and cats (Step 1) – advantageous but not a requirement

• Are confident in your competence and thrive in a dynamic environment

• Are solution-oriented, unpretentious, and appreciate teamwork

• Enjoy sharing knowledge and contributing to development
