Job Responsibilities

The duties consist largely of meeting, guiding, and assisting both students and staff with questions regarding literature and other matters within your area of responsibility. You will also plan and implement various reading-promoting activities with both internal and external partners.

Other common tasks include:

• Hiring and supervising substitutes.
• Working with various digital systems.
• Ordering and purchasing literature.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in library and information science or a pedagogical education with a focus on reading and literary studies.
• Experience and familiarity with working in various digital systems.
• Previous experience working in a school setting.
• Previous experience working in a library is an advantage.
