KT-Kuriren has a strong and dedicated sports coverage, ranging from elite sports to grassroots activities. We are now looking for you who want to help further develop our sports journalism, with a clear focus on digital presence and local engagement.

As part of Erna Media, we actively work to develop journalism that reaches more people and engages new target groups. We believe in local sports journalism that is fast, relevant, and close to the people.

About the Role

As a sports reporter with us, you will work with both breaking news and in-depth features. You are expected to be self-reliant, creative, and have a strong drive to find your own angles and break stories before others.

In the role of sports reporter, you will among other things:

• cover local sports (from elite to grassroots)
• work quickly and digitally in the daily news flow
• write engaging features and personal stories
• contribute content in text, images, and video

The work involves evening and weekend shifts according to schedule, with possibilities for longer periods of leave.

About You

You are passionate about local sports journalism and know that the news cycle never stops. You are

curious, driven, and enjoy working close to people and events.

We believe you have:

• a journalism degree or equivalent work experience
• experience with digital journalism
• photography skills
• the ability to find news and stories that engage the audience

A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.
