About the Role

The Home Care service consists of seven units: North, South, Close, East, Support Unit, Night Unit, and Resource Unit. All units, except those in rural areas, are co-located on Upplagsvägen together with the home healthcare nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists.

Through individually needs-assessed interventions, we strengthen the individual's ability to manage their daily life and enable them to continue living in a safe and familiar environment.

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who wants to contribute with joy, care, and security to our clients in their home environment. We always keep the clients in focus and place great emphasis on ensuring that visit interventions are carried out with high quality. Your tasks involve providing service and personal care based on the quality goals of the operations, where planning, follow-up, evaluation, and collaboration are important components. The role also includes being a contact person as well as administrative tasks such as documentation, scheduling, and acting as a representative in various work areas.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a nurse assistant education (undersköterska) or another education that the employer considers equivalent. You should have experience or interest in working within home care, have a positive outlook on life, and be flexible and meticulous. Collaboration and helpfulness are qualities we value highly.

Computers and mobile phones are used as work tools, and it is desirable that you have good digital competence. Your tasks include documenting and communicating with various parties, which requires good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Personal suitability is given great importance. In accordance with the National Minorities Act, Gällivare Municipality is the administrative authority for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare Municipality.

A valid driver's license is required.

Working Hours/Duration

Full-time, Permanent position. Working shifts during day/evening/weekend. Probation period may apply.
