About the Role

As a Traffic Safety Worker, you are responsible for delivering and picking up materials based on orders from external customers. You will transport materials as well as load, unload, and set up signs, barriers, fences, and other protective devices to create safe work sites. When you are not out on the roads, you are at the depot handling materials and customers. Your responsibilities include loading and unloading, as well as sorting and moving materials at the depot. Working hours are scheduled for evenings or night shifts.

Responsibilities

The role involves driving special vehicles for traffic safety and actively participating in the setup of road closures by loading, unloading, and placing necessary equipment. You will work with short drives and handle materials to ensure safe working environments on the roads.

• Drive trucks equipped for traffic safety work.
• Load and unload materials such as signs, crowd control barriers, and concrete blocks.
• Place traffic safety equipment and road closures according to drawings.
• Closure of roads and work areas.
• Crane truck driving & TMA (Truck Mounted Attenuator) driving.

We are looking for someone who

• Fluently speaks Swedish, as it is used in daily work.
• Has a valid C-class driver's license.
• Has a valid YKB (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Has the ability and willingness to perform physically heavy work.
• Can work independently and follow drawings for road closures.

It is an advantage if you have

• Previous experience in traffic safety or similar.
• Training in vehicles or equivalent.
• Experience with TMA and crane truck driving.
• Experience working with heavy lifts.
