Connect Bus is now looking for a Personnel Planner for Gothenburg, responsible for staffing, scheduling, and long-term personnel planning within service travel. This role is perfect for you if you thrive in a coordinating function with many contact points and want to contribute to stable and well-functioning traffic operations.

About the role
As a Personnel Planner at Connect Bus, you work close to the operations and have a central role in ensuring staffing for approximately 200 drivers distributed across three depots in the Gothenburg area: Marieholm, Eklanda in Mölndal, and Aröd on Hisingen. You report to the operations manager and collaborate closely with traffic control and other colleagues within planning and operations. The position is based at the company's headquarters in Marieholm.

In the role of Personnel Planner, your responsibilities include among other things:

  • Work with long-term personnel planning and ensure that drivers have access to their schedules in good time
  • Schedule and staff vacant shifts
  • Handle leave applications from drivers and ensure feedback within specified timeframes
  • Plan main holidays and replacements during training sessions
  • Register time reports and other compensations as a basis for payroll processing
  • Analyze personnel balance and efficiency in staffing
  • Ensure that staff work routines, safety and environmental work, and working conditions are followed
  • Collaborate with traffic control and the operations team to maintain stable operations
  • Have daily dialogue with drivers regarding quality deviations, customer feedback, and operational issues
  • Contribute to the company's environmental and sustainability work

The role involves some travel between the depots in Marieholm, Eklanda, and Aröd within the Gothenburg area.

Who you are
We are looking for you who have experience in personnel planning, staffing planning, or another coordinating role where structure, communication, and problem-solving have been central parts of the work. You are confident working independently and have an easy time collaborating with different functions in an operational environment. To succeed in the role, we believe you:

  • Have at least 1–2 years of experience in personnel planning, staffing coordination, or a similar role
  • Have good administrative skills and system proficiency
  • Are structured, detail-oriented, and used to prioritizing in a high tempo
  • Have a calm and solution-oriented approach even when conditions change quickly
  • Thrive in a relationship-building role with many contact points

It is an advantage if you have experience from public transport, taxi, logistics, or other transport operations, knowledge of collective agreements, especially the Taxi agreement, and experience with planning systems such as Transpa or Hastus.
