Job Responsibilities

As a service technician, you will work with the service and maintenance of pumps and mechanical equipment in our workshop, as well as at customer sites. Tasks may vary, such as disassembly, new installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

You are responsible for documenting report material and correct time reporting for the work you perform. Occasionally, tasks may be reprioritized due to urgent work, so flexibility is required. There are also periods when our services are in high demand, which may involve working outside regular hours. Work is usually performed together with other service technicians.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have experience working as a service technician and have a genuine technical interest. You are driven by delivering quality and are proud of your profession. You are solution-oriented and motivated by successfully solving problems within set timeframes while maintaining quality.

The role involves working together with other service technicians, so you must be able to collaborate well with your colleagues. We prefer that you have a few years of experience in industrial service and/or as a maintenance technician, along with a 3-year vocational upper secondary education or equivalent.

It is an advantage if you have experience with service and maintenance regarding mechanical seals, bearings, packing, pumps, hydraulics, or transmission. You are flexible and see no problem if planned work needs to be reprioritized for more urgent needs. Since work is performed at customer sites, a driver's license is required.

Location

The position is based at our workshop in Gävle. In addition to working in our workshop, you will work at customer sites, and overnight stays in other locations may occur.
