We are looking for a Certification Engineer for a client in the automotive industry.

As a Certification Engineer, you will be responsible for various areas of regulations. You will plan and prepare certification tests in collaboration with international authorities, test institutes, and relevant project teams.

You will compile technical information documents and provide certificates for components, systems, and complete vehicles.

You will also act as a Homologation Project Manager in various product projects.

To be successful in this position, we believe you have an enthusiastic and proactive approach with excellent collaboration and communication skills.

You define success in terms of the whole team and have an in-depth understanding of the Homologation business.

Required Skills

• Experience with automotive vehicle legislation and/or certification procedures

• Experience from electric vehicle legislation: Electrical safety, EMC, or Cyber Security is a plus

• Ability to manage complex legal interpretations

• Strong documentation skills

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English, both spoken and written

• Driven and able to work in a structured manner

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written

• Travel may be required
