Parental Leave Substitute: Supervisor/Gardener

We are now looking for a supervisor with experience in garden and park management for our office in Umeå.

The estimated start date is in September 2026, and the position is expected to last approximately 1 year.

As a supervisor at Höga Kusten Skog & Fastighet, you will work largely administratively, both independently and together with your colleagues.

Your Responsibilities

The main administrative tasks include following up on time reporting, handling work orders, approving invoices, planning purchases and orders, maintaining and writing management plans, participating in and supporting operational meetings as well as procurement. You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising staff/seasonal staff and subcontractors. You will also serve as an important link between the work team and the Site Manager.

During the winter, snow removal and supervision of snow plow operators will occur.

The role includes conducting rounds and follow-ups to ensure quality assurance that performed work meets high quality standards and complies with customer requirements. This includes understanding contract documents and maintenance plans. You will perform supervision and maintenance of indoor property management and green areas/outdoor environments, snow clearing, and ice control. You are responsible for ongoing contact with tenants, customers, and contractors, etc.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for you who have a few years of experience supervising garden work and are educated as a landscape engineer or gardener.

We see that you have the following qualities:

• You have good communication skills and are service-oriented with a good attitude towards tenants, customers, and employees.
• As a person, you are good at planning and structuring, but also prioritizing your work when conditions or situations change.
• You have good administrative skills and are accustomed to working in various property systems. Since the computer is a natural part of the work, we expect you to have good computer skills, viewing digitalization as an opportunity for development and improvement in your work.

About the Position

Employment Terms: Full-time, Probation/Permanent.

Requirements:

• Category B driver's license
• Experience in green area maintenance
• Experience in green area maintenance in a supervisory role
• Educated as a landscape engineer or gardener
