We are now looking for a Software Integrator for Marine Systems

Your Role

A warship must be able to compile data from its sensors and make operational decisions based on this information. The systems being developed consist of both hardware and software to support advanced marine functions.

The role of a software integrator involves making complex software function on computers and specially built hardware. Configuration of software and networks is a major part of the work, as is troubleshooting, operating simulators, and integrating with other systems and vendor solutions.

The systems are large and complex, and no delivery is the same as the other. The role involves less pure coding and more understanding and structuring problems, analyzing interfaces, and finding practical solutions.

The work is primarily computer-based but can also take place in test environments or on-site in various locations, both nationally and internationally. Travel may be required.

The integrator works closely with other integrators, testers, and developers. The work is dynamic and may change with short notice depending on needs.

Your Profile

We are looking for you with a technical background, such as a university degree or civil engineering degree, or equivalent experience. You have at least three years of experience in similar work and a strong technical interest.

Knowledge of Windows, Linux (primarily Ubuntu), networks, and switches is advantageous. You are solution-oriented, structured, and thrive working both independently and in teams.

You have the ability to search for information independently, share knowledge, and document your work. You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
