Do you want a social, active, and important job? We are looking for you who want to work as a waste collector, who will enjoy driving a garbage truck and have a Category C driving license and a valid YKB (professional competence certificate).

Nordisk Återvinning Service AB is responsible for waste collection in Karlshamn, Sölvesborg & Olofström, with VMAB as the client and cooperation partner. As a driver with us, your main tasks are the collection of household waste, recyclable materials, and the transport of waste. You should enjoy physical outdoor work as the job is mostly performed outside the vehicle.

We work Monday to Friday from 06:30 to 15:00, and we have weekends off. In some cases, such as during challenging driving conditions, as well as on public holidays and red days, some overtime and evening work are included. The position is a need-based employment over the summer with a chance for full-time work.

You should live locally around Karlshamn.

Tasks:

• Collection and transport of waste
• Responsibility for your own vehicle with daily and weekly follow-up, as well as cleaning and maintenance
• Incident reporting
• Participate in meetings related to operations
• Follow the company's OHS and quality routines
• Handling of the vehicle computer

We are looking for you who have:

• Category C driving license and valid YKB
• Preferably experience from transport and/or similar work
• Fluent Swedish – spoken and written
• Basic familiarity with digital aids
