Do you want to work in a key role where you get to combine quality, supplier development, and improvement work in an international industrial environment?

In the role of Supplier Developer/SQA, you will become an important part of the purchasing organization and work closely with both suppliers and internal functions to ensure high quality, delivery precision, and long-term development. You work closely with strategic and operational buyers as well as functions within production, quality, planning, and finance. The role also involves supplier audits and qualification of new products according to PPAP methodology. Here you have great freedom to influence working methods, drive initiatives, and contribute to the continued development of the supplier base in line with business growth. The role may involve travel to our suppliers to maintain and strengthen the collaboration with the supplier.

Examples of tasks:

  • Follow up and develop suppliers' performance in quality, delivery, and cost
  • Initiate and drive improvement activities together with suppliers
  • Handle and follow up on quality deviations and ensure long-term corrective actions
  • Conduct supplier audits and develop collaboration with existing suppliers

Your Profile

To succeed in the role, we believe you thrive in a business where you take significant personal responsibility and work closely with both internal and external contacts. You are a proactive and structured person who combines a quality focus with a business-minded and solution-oriented approach.

The role requires good collaboration skills and a diplomatic approach, as you will drive issues that affect several parts of the organization while simultaneously building long-term relationships with suppliers. You are communicative, receptive, and have the ability to get others involved in change and improvement work. At the same time, you are brave enough to raise problems and drive issues forward in a constructive way.

The role requires that you have:

  • Post-secondary technical education from University College (YH) or University
  • Some years of experience in similar tasks within purchasing quality, SQA, or production quality
  • Experience from manufacturing industry or equivalent relevant industrial background
  • Good knowledge of reading drawings
