About the position

Welcome to inpatient wards B72 and B74 within Nursing Area 1, Upper Abdomen. Here we provide highly specialized care for pancreas, liver tumors, and liver diseases. We treat patients with both malignant and benign diseases through both planned and acute care pathways. We also investigate and treat patients prior to liver transplants.

With us, you will have the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of complex disease conditions and advanced surgery.

We work:

• Patient-centered, together with patients and relatives
• Evidence-based according to the Enhanced Recovery Program (ERP)
• Team-based, where nurses and assistant nurses work in pairs during night shifts.

The wards consist of 14 and 12 beds respectively, distributed across single rooms and two-bed wards to create a good care environment.

The position is for a night shift on inpatient wards B72–B74 in Huddinge.

We are looking for you who

• Are self-reliant, take responsibility for your work, and contribute to development within the nursing field
• Have good collaboration skills and work closely with colleagues and other professions to create good and safe care
• Are stable and maintain calm and focus even in complex or stressful situations
• Are pedagogical and enjoy supervising and sharing your knowledge with students and newly hired colleagues
• Are engaged, curious, and wish to develop long-term within the operations.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Swedish nursing license

Merits:

• Previous experience in surgical nursing or emergency care
• Experience equivalent to competency step 3 for nurses, such as supervision, development work, and advanced clinical competence.
