Job Description

We are currently looking for a driven and experienced Transport Manager for a client located in Norra Djurgårdsstan. The position is full-time with working hours Monday–Friday, 06:30–16:00. You should be available to start working on March 3rd. We are looking for someone who is confident, has experience in similar roles, and is accustomed to taking significant personal responsibility. As a Transport Manager, your task is to plan all transport operations with loop trucks and ensure that load consolidation and warehouse operations run smoothly. The following are the key responsibilities:

• Plan daily operations through so-called daily control using visual planning created by the supplier.
• Lead site coordination meetings at the warehouse.
• Responsible for ensuring all pallets are registered and handled according to the specification.
• Have overall responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the facility.
• Ability to register goods in TBS for inbound and outbound registration.
• Report facility defects to the responsible person at GFO.
• Participate in site manager meetings.
• Participate in customer management group meetings.
• Handle damage to goods according to the specification.
• Ensure that all reports and statistics are produced weekly.
• Quality assurance of documentation and all activities within warehouse operations. Audits must be conducted every six months.
• Handle customer contacts with contractors and construction companies regarding relevant parts of warehouse operations.
• The Warehouse/Transport Manager is responsible for engaging staff in tasks such as cleaning, warehousing, sorting, organization, and maintenance of all materials within the warehouse operations, including returns, construction materials, and reuse.
• The Warehouse/Transport Manager must also be able to provide staff for tasks outside daily warehouse operations as requested by GFO.
• Communicate statistics to all employees within the warehouse organization on a weekly basis.

The Warehouse and Transport Manager leads their own operations and reports to GFO. GFO manages the overall operations through collaboration with all suppliers to optimize and monitor the work. The supplier reports to GFO with weekly statistics. The supplier has alignment meetings with GFO at least once a month.

Your Profile

The following requirements apply:

• Good spoken and written skills in Swedish and English.
• Valid B-class driver's license.
• Previous experience as a Transport Manager.
