We at JOIN are now looking for a Mechanical Engineer for a project with one of our clients in Skåne. The role involves working in a development project with a focus on design, technical problem-solving, and product development.

This assignment is suitable for you who thrive in an environment where you get to work broadly within mechanics and collaborate with various parts of the business.

About the role

The responsibilities will include among other things:

• Design, development, and improvement of mechanical components and products
• Prototyping
• CAD work, technical drawings, and documentation
• Technical problem-solving, analysis, and testing
• Close collaboration with suppliers and different parts of the organization

We are looking for someone who:

• Has good knowledge of one or more CAD tools
• Has experience with kinematics/moving mechanics
• Is a self-starter "doer" who is used to working iteratively in a team and getting things done, including practical work with prototype builds
• Experience with strength calculations and simulation tools is an advantage
• Experience from MedTech is an advantage.

About the assignment

• Location: Skåne (Malmö/Lund area)
• Start: As agreed
• Duration: approx. 12 months, with possibility of extension
• Scope: Full-time
• Employment type: Fixed-term employment or B2B contract
• Language: Swedish and/or English
