About the Role

We are looking for several experienced and responsible forklift drivers for a full-time assignment with one of our clients in Halmstad. For the right candidate, this position can lead to direct employment with the client. The client has a need for several forklift drivers who are experienced in operating counterbalance forklifts with long loads. Work with overhead cranes is also included. Working hours are during the day and in two shifts, but weekend work may also occur.

Responsibilities

The role involves loading and unloading goods, order picking at the client's warehouse, and internal transport of steel pipes. You will use forklifts and overhead cranes as tools. All work is reported back in the business system SAP. We apply job rotation to ensure a sustainable work environment.

We are looking for someone with experience in warehouse work within the industry and extensive experience operating counterbalance forklifts, preferably with long loads, as we handle long lengths, often over 6 meters.

As a person, you are detail-oriented and easy to work with. We see that you have a positive attitude towards learning new things and are curious about technology, combined with a pleasant personality. The work is sometimes fast-paced with important deadlines, so you must be able to handle stress without losing focus on safety and service levels.

Requirements

• Forklift license A1-4 and B1-4
• Previous warehouse experience and good familiarity with counterbalance forklifts
• Overhead crane license is an advantage
• Good computer skills
• Category B driver's license and own car
