RESPONSIBILITIES

You are welcome to apply for this varied position as pool staff with swimming instruction. The role involves several different aspects. An important part of your duties includes swimming instruction for school students. Here, you will share responsibility together with a colleague. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to promote activity and joy in movement by leading activities such as water aerobics.

The responsibilities also include lifeguarding, cleaning, and reception work. A key part of your role is hospitality, which includes providing good treatment and offering excellent service and support to visitors of all ages. We want our visitors to feel safe and welcome in our facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

The position requires good swimming skills, and we conduct a practical test known as the 'Gold Buoy' (Guldbojen), according to the Swedish Life Saving Society (SLS). This is to ensure that requirements regarding safety and lifeguarding are met. The profession also requires that you can communicate well in Swedish. Proficiency in English is an advantage. A swimming instructor or pool manager certification is also considered an advantage.

We are looking for someone with a pedagogical approach, who is service-oriented and easy to collaborate with. You enjoy meeting people of all ages, are responsible and solution-focused, and can contribute to a positive work environment. You need to be structured and have a strong safety mindset. Previous experience in a swimming pool environment or in service roles where good customer service is vital is an advantage.

Here, you will be part of a wonderful team that supports each other in daily routines and in the development of operations. You will work on a schedule that includes evenings and weekends.

A valid Category B driver's license is required.

The employer will request a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (extract from the criminal record) before the current employment begins.
