We at ordinary housing work to provide the right services for the people we are here for, based on their needs, carried out with respect and good treatment, and thus create security. You will currently be placed at Örnsköldsvik Västra home care. Our users live within a smaller area, and therefore we cycle or walk between visits. We also cooperate with nearby areas.

Job Responsibilities

As an employee, your main task is to provide support, motivation, and care to our users. We work in a health-promoting manner with the aim of strengthening the individual's own abilities and ensuring that everyone who receives support from us feels secure in staying in their home.

Involvement, development, and community are keywords for us, where continuous improvements provide the prerequisites for creating good quality. We work with welfare technology with the aim of increasing security, involvement, and independence for our users.

The job responsibilities include, among other things, personal care, support with household chores in the user's home, handling medication and wound dressings, documentation, contact person duties, as well as social and physical activities together with our users. We work in a team-based manner, which means that many different professional groups have the common goal of creating a good quality of life for our users.

We offer you meaningful work where you have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge within palliative care, dementia, daily rehabilitation approaches, and transfer techniques.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a nurse assistant or have other education or experience that the employer considers sufficient. We would like you to have further education in elderly care and/or dementia or have an educational focus on psychiatry. Experience of working within care and social services is meritorious.

It is important that you enjoy and thrive working with people and that you are flexible and open to new ideas and working methods.

The job requires sufficient knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing to, among other things, communicate with users, perform care documentation, and obtain medication delegation.

A valid driver's license, category B, is a requirement, access to a private car is meritorious.

The positions refer to three permanent full-time positions (100%). Start date by agreement.

In the welfare administration, approximately 2,500 employees work. In connection with the interview, we will conduct an identity check and check citizenship. Approved documents are passport, international ID card, driver's license + personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency or another ID document that strengthens citizenship. For some positions, extracts from the police's suspicion and criminal record register must be presented. We appreciate language skills in Finnish and/or any of the Sami varieties as Örnsköldsvik Municipality is included in both the Finnish and Sami administrative areas.

In our municipality, a number of positions are placed in a security class, so a security check may take place. These positions may require Swedish citizenship.
