Description and Responsibilities

We are looking for a summer substitute for park maintenance – with a special focus on supervising holiday workers!

Do you want a meaningful summer job where you get to work practically with outdoor environments and also serve as a supportive adult for young people in their first work experience? Then this is for you!

We are looking for someone who wants to work with the maintenance of the municipality's plantings – and above all, act as a supervisor for our holiday workers. An important part of the role is to create a safe, educational, and positive work environment where young people can grow and feel involved in the work.

Qualifications

You must be at least 18 years old, careful, and independent. You have an interest in, and preferably experience with, garden maintenance. We place great importance on both professional and personal merits and strive to promote equality in our operations. A Category B driver's license is required. A loader operator's certificate is a merit.

Other Information

The position is with Storfors Municipality during regular staff leave from June to August, with the possibility of extension.

Employment scope: Full-time

Before employment, you must submit a certificate of good conduct from the Swedish Police Authority, as you will be working with children. You can easily order this via the e-service on the police website. The certificate must be submitted to us before the employment begins.

If you already have a certificate, it must not be older than one year.
