If needed, we provide training when you start your employment as a timber measurer. Your training takes place in close contact with your manager, colleagues, and quality manager.

Job Description

You will be working at Gruvön Sawmill, which will also be your base of operations. The current working hours are a two-shift day schedule, including weekend duties, with a weekly working time of 37 hours. Your tasks include measuring timber logs and other routine duties at the measuring station, such as some cleaning and administration. As a trained timber measurer, you will be responsible for the daily operations at the measuring station and maintain ongoing contact with both drivers and customers. The work should be carried out in line with our values, meaning in a reliable, impartial and engaged manner. Of course, we do this together!

We see you as a person who is meticulous, enjoys order and structure, and likes working with numbers. You are service-oriented, towards both customers and colleagues, easy to collaborate with, and a good team player. You are engaged, professional, trustworthy, and quick to identify opportunities for improvement to make your daily work better. Furthermore, you need to be comfortable working practically and with digital systems, and you must be able to communicate clearly in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. The position requires a valid B-driver's license, as well as being self-motivated and responsible.

Desirable/Qualifying

Forestry knowledge and experience in timber measurement are considered advantageous, as is the ability to communicate in English, though this is not a requirement.
