Do you want to work as a consultant with Lely's innovative solutions for milk and meat production?
Lely Center Lidköping is looking for a consultant, Farm Management Support, for the Värmland area, which includes both Dalsland and Bohuslän. However, our area extends over Scania, Halland, Västergötland, and Värmland, and we help each other across borders in a consulting team. Our customer base is growing, and we are now looking for a consultant who is passionate about dairy cows, service, and technology. You will be part of a driven team that educates and supports our customers for optimal production – welcome to apply to us!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Milk production is becoming increasingly automated and more dependent on specialists to interpret, develop, and optimize operations. Lely is an innovative company that puts the cow at the center. Our various automatic solutions for milking and feeding use sensors, indications, and algorithms that provide valuable information to the farmer.
As a Farm Management Support (FMS), your role includes training and advising Lely Center Lidköping's customers. You will be out on farms in your area as well as helping remotely by connecting to customers' computers. Through close collaboration within the team, consisting of FMS, sales, project coordinator, and service technician, we work for the benefit of the cows and the customer. You will have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about free-stall traffic, the Horizon management program, and the technology behind the robots. Further training takes place both in Sweden and abroad together with our FMS colleagues throughout the Nordic region. For the right person, this could become the most fun job in the world!
You will be part of an FMS team with three colleagues, each responsible for their own geographical area. In addition to advising and providing digital support to customers, you will plan and conduct training for customers, experience groups, participate in trade fairs, and other customer activities.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND QUALIFICATIONS
To fit in with us, we see that you, in addition to a great "cow interest," have a curious problem-solving attitude, good social competence with the ability to build good relationships, and your own drive to build your own daily routine and develop your service. As a person, you should enjoy working with both animals and people.
You find it easy to collaborate and work in a team, as well as independently. Attention to detail, initiative, good organizational skills, and flexibility are qualities we believe you possess. The work is independent and requires that you can plan your own time in a good and structured way. The position involves travel and planned overnight stays. You work from home and are resident in Värmland, Dalsland, or Bohuslän.
Important qualifications:
- Agronomist, farm manager, agrotechnician, or equivalent education
- Technically interested
- Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Good computer skills
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
Previous experience working with cattle or as a consultant is highly meritorious.
The geographical work area is primarily Värmland, but Dalsland and Bohuslän are also included in our geography. Are you a person who travels well and is curious about a truly interesting and developing job? Apply to us at Lely!
