We offer you not just a secure and stable workplace with collective agreements and favorable employment terms, but also a strong culture characterized by engagement, community, and the desire to make a difference. With us, you will develop in a work environment that promotes balance and long-term growth, without compromising your health. You become part of a dedicated company that works every day for a safer Sweden. Here, every workday is meaningful, and your work could be the difference that saves lives. Do you want to join us?

Your daily life as a Nurse

Do you want a challenge where you can use your broad knowledge and attention to detail while having the opportunity to contribute to the development of the work together with fantastic colleagues? Are you someone who handles pressure well, both in the moment and over longer periods regardless of the time of day? Do you thrive working in a structured and methodical way and are confident in yourself and your competence? Then you might be our next colleague!

As a nurse at SOS Alarm, you primarily work with telephone assessment and triage. You assess patients of all ages who have called 112 due to illness or injury with varying needs for assistance. By phone, you assess the need for an ambulance and provide acute medical advice and nursing guidance. Some of the calls involve guiding patients to the appropriate level of care, which requires you to work safely and efficiently as a nurse. In your work, you collaborate with both internal and external actors, such as ambulance care and home care services.

You will receive a comprehensive introduction where you alternate between e-courses and training with supervisors at your home center, as well as training days at our training unit in Kista.

As an SOS nurse, you have a 24/7 position with opportunities to influence your own schedule.

We are looking for you who:
  • Swedish nursing license

  • At least three years of professional experience in the field

  • Good computer skills

  • Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

  • Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

We consider it meritorious if you have experience with telephone assessment, relevant specialized nursing education, or additional language skills beyond Swedish and English.

Personal suitability is given great importance.

We offer you

As an employee at SOS Alarm, we see your well-being as a focus area, and we know that a balance between work and private life is crucial for a sustainable and meaningful work life. Therefore, as an employee, you have the following employment terms and benefits:

  • Wellness allowance of 5,000 SEK

  • SOS Health - a health initiative where you have the opportunity to participate in joint activities and runs with your colleagues. The purpose is to strengthen our health and sense of community.

  • Reduced working hours

  • Collective agreement and occupational pension according to ITP

  • SOS Campus - a learning library for continuous learning and competence development

With us, you become part of a culture where values are more than just words – they shape how we act every day. We take responsibility, we are professional, we show care, and we collaborate. We are looking for you who share these values and want to be part of a context where we develop together and create safety in society. With us, you do not just have a job – you contribute to a safer Sweden for everyone, every day.
