About the role

At Outokumpu in Degerfors, we are looking for a shift electrician to join our electrical maintenance team. In this role, you will work in a dynamic environment where safety is always the top priority. You will collaborate closely with mechanics and automation technicians to handle urgent machine breakdowns as well as plan and perform preventive maintenance.

As an electrician here, you will have the opportunity to work with advanced technology and challenging tasks that develop both your skills and your technical understanding. The role also includes administration, supplier contacts, and independent planning of your workday, providing flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to the improvement of our processes.

The position is full-time and involves continuous 5-shift work.

Your responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of Outokumpu's electrical equipment
• Development of electrical maintenance to ensure a reliable production facility
• Active participation in the company's safety work to create a secure working environment
• Contribute to improvement work both individually and in teams
• Assist various sections with preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
• Use of our maintenance system, Maximo

Your profile

• Upper secondary education in electricity, industry, automation, or equivalent
• Structured and responsible with strong drive
• Proactive and solution-oriented
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills, with proficiency in the Microsoft Office package being an advantage
• Advantageous if you have experience with troubleshooting, PLC knowledge, or process understanding within furnace technology
• Advantageous if you have experience working with maintenance and maintenance systems for machinery and electrical systems
