About the Company
BOS Power is an established and growing technology company with a strong foothold in the Nordic region. The company is the general agent for Rolls-Royce Power Systems and works exclusively with their product range, focusing on the MTU engine brand. The operations include service, refurbishment, and installation of engines for applications such as marine propulsion, standby power, and critical infrastructure including defense, healthcare, telecommunications, and energy supply.
As part of the Norwegian Bertel O. Steen Group, they combine the flexibility and short decision-making paths of a smaller company with the security of belonging to a stable and growing conglomerate. In Sweden, the work is based out of a modern and well-equipped workshop in Jordbro, with close and developing cooperation within the Nordic region.
About the Role
As a Traveling Service Technician, you will have a varied and practical role where travel and overnight stays are a natural part of the job. You will be based out of the workshop in Jordbro but will work primarily on-site with customers throughout Sweden, and occasionally in the Nordic region when needed.
The work involves servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing engines in the field, as well as component replacements and technical work. When not working on-site, you will participate in workshop activities, including full engine overhauls and major repairs.
You will receive comprehensive onboarding as well as recurring training at the company’s own training centers, covering both engine and electrical systems. All specific product training is included in the role.
You are also offered excellent benefits, paid travel, and generous field allowances. In many cases, you have the opportunity to influence whether you wish to travel, work overtime, or work weekends.
We are looking for someone who
- has practical experience working with engines. It does not matter what type of engines – passenger cars, trucks, construction machinery, marine, or hobby engines. The important thing is that you have previously worked mechanically with engines, including troubleshooting and assembly.
- are technically curious, self-motivated, and have a genuine interest in mechanics.
- enjoy dynamic work, are flexible, and have no problem traveling for work.
- are physically fit and comfortable working in varying environments.
- fluent in Swedish and have basic knowledge of English.
Additional Information
• We are hiring 2 people for this position
• Planned start date is in August

We look forward to receiving your application!
