About the Role

In the role of Lift Technician, you will have a varied and independent daily routine where you work with both the installation and service of Guldmann Stepless lift platforms. You are based in Stockholm (from home or the office) and work on-site at customer locations, where you are responsible for the entire process – from assembling new installations to troubleshooting, repairs, and ongoing maintenance.

The work can be divided into three main areas: installation of new platforms, troubleshooting and repair, and periodic maintenance. This means that one day you might assemble a new lift platform, and the next day you work on fixing a technical fault or performing scheduled maintenance. The role requires that you enjoy switching between practical work and technical problem-solving.

You primarily work with day trips, but longer trips may occur if needed. Currently, these are limited, but it is important that you are flexible when the situation demands it.

As a technician, you have significant responsibility for planning and executing assignments. You ensure that the right materials and equipment are available, document your work continuously, and maintain close dialogue with both customers and internal functions. For larger installations, you may also take a leading role on-site and distribute the work.

A key part of the role is customer contact. You conduct final reviews after installation or service and ensure that the customer feels confident in using the product. You represent the company on-site and contribute to a high level of service.

You receive ongoing training and certification, both for lift platforms and roof lifts, which allows you to continuously develop in your role. Training takes place, among other places, in Denmark, giving you the opportunity to broaden your technical expertise.

You work both independently and together with colleagues, with support from the company's technical specialists when needed. This role suits you if you want practical, mobile, and responsible work where no two days are alike.

We are looking for someone who:

Is technically inclined, practically oriented, and thrives in an independent role with significant personal responsibility.

To succeed in the role, we see that you:

• Have experience in service, installation, or assembly work
• Have a background in construction, craftsmanship, or a similar practical profession (required)
• Have basic knowledge of electricity and troubleshooting
• Have experience with mechanical work (e.g., vehicles/machinery) (highly desirable)
• Are accustomed to working independently on-site at customer locations
• Have basic knowledge of the Office suite (required)
• Have good proficiency in Swedish (required)
• Have good proficiency in English
• Hold a valid B-driver's license (required)

Experience with elevators, lift platforms, or similar technology is an advantage.

The assignment involves staffing via Kraftsam Recruitment & Staffing with good opportunities to transition into employment with Guldmann AB. The position is full-time with immediate start. Our client offers independent and flexible work where you manage your own working day. A service vehicle, tools, computer, and phone are included in the role. Guldmann AB is an international company, and in Sweden, we have approximately 30 employees spread across the country. Their Swedish offices are located in Alingsås and Stockholm.
