About the position

On the Vascular Surgery Ward, we care for patients undergoing various vascular surgical procedures, including open surgery and endovascular treatment. We work with an interesting patient group with many different diagnoses – here you can learn a lot! Our ward has stable staffing with night nurses.

The ward has 15 beds. Three nurses care for approximately 5 patients each. On some shifts, there are two nurses and one assistant nurse. You will work exclusively nights, and the position also includes weekend duties. We use individual scheduling where you can request how you wish to work. We also apply a large holiday schedule, giving everyone a chance to plan further ahead. Day and evening shifts are covered by other nurses.

As a nurse with us, you are responsible for the direct care of patients before and after surgery. Your tasks consist of pre- and postoperative care, but it is also important that you take responsibility for your own work and are interested in change management. We strive to ensure that patients receive good and safe care.

The position is 100% night shift. Part-time work is also possible.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN).
• Experience in surgical nursing.
