As a result of the municipality's development, the Property Department is now seeking an engaged and service-oriented Property Technician / Housing Manager to be based in Hallsberg.

About the Operations

The Property Department is part of the Operations and Services Administration in Hallsberg Municipality. The administration is responsible for, among other things, the municipality's properties, local cleaning, meal services, water and wastewater operations, as well as streets and parks.

As a Property Technician / Housing Manager, you will become an important part of the Property Department, where we together manage approximately 110,000 square meters of properties. Job Responsibilities

As a Property Technician / Housing Manager with us, you are a key contact person for our tenants and are responsible for creating a good living environment within your area.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Being the primary contact for tenants in daily matters
• Handling fault reports and simple repairs
• Performing supervision, maintenance, and simple upkeep of properties and outdoor areas
• Working proactively to ensure order, comfort, and safety in residential areas
• Coordinating and following up with contractors for minor maintenance work
• Assisting with move-ins and move-outs as well as apartment inspections
• Maintaining ongoing contact with tenants and contributing to good service
• Reporting and documenting work in the property management system
• Participating in improvement work and contributing to the development of our living environments

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have experience in property maintenance, housing management, or other experience that the employer deems equivalent.

You are practical, solution-oriented, and thrive in a role where you meet people every day. To succeed in the role, you need to be responsible, flexible, and have a good sense of service.

We would like you to:

• Have experience working with tenants and residential properties
• Have basic knowledge of property maintenance and simple repairs
• Be accustomed to working independently and taking initiative
• Have good collaboration skills and a professional attitude
• Have basic computer skills
• Hold a valid B-driver's license
