About the Role

As a Business Controller at our partner company, you will become part of an engaged team responsible for the company's accounting and financial reporting in Scandinavia. Together, you will drive the work with accounting, closing, and reporting forward, ensuring that our client's accounting principles and reporting requirements are followed. In this role, you will work operationally to deliver accurate and high-quality financial statements, both internally within the company and within the group. You will have clear responsibility for one of our Nordic operations and are expected to take a holistic approach to monitoring and analyzing results and financial position. You will identify improvements, analyze deviations, and propose corrections.

The role also involves a more strategic perspective where you stay updated on changes in legislation, reporting requirements, as well as tax and accounting regulations. You will have close dialogue with internal stakeholders, such as department heads and support functions across the Nordics.

We are looking for you who:

• Have a completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on finance/accounting or equivalent university or vocational higher education.
• Have at least two to three years of experience as an accounting consultant, auditor, or in a similar role.
• Have good experience in financial analysis, accounting, as well as monthly, quarterly, and annual closing.
• Have knowledge of current laws, tax regulations, and accounting principles.
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, as these languages are used in daily work.

It is an advantage if you have:
