Since 2004, Bar Italia has been a central meeting place in Västra Hamnen for everyone who loves authentic Italian food culture. We are proud to deliver artisanal gelato, aromatic coffee, and Italian dishes with a focus on the highest quality and personal service.

We are now expanding our team and looking for a passionate colleague who wants to contribute to our warm atmosphere.

We are currently looking for an engaged café assistant. To thrive in this role, you are a service-oriented person who enjoys giving that little extra to every guest, and you never compromise on quality – whether you are serving creamy gelato or a perfect espresso.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is ambitious and thrives working at a sometimes fast pace.
• Is a team player who spreads positive energy within the team and greets guests with a smile.
• Has experience from the café, restaurant, or service industry.
• Is flexible and can work varying hours, including evenings and weekends.

Your responsibilities:

• Serving gelato, simple Italian dishes, and coffee at a professional level.
• Handling cash and providing proactive, welcoming customer service.
• Preparing light meals, drinks, and coffee specialties.
• Shared responsibility for ensuring the café and gelateria are always in absolute top condition.
