The Swedish Armed Forces are looking for an officer who wants to work in a broad range of tasks aimed at maintaining and developing the war-time unit Military Region Group (MR Group) Kalmar and Kronoberg, as well as the two Home Guard battalions in Kalmar and Kronoberg. We offer a broad position with proximity to decision-making and the opportunity to influence and contribute. We are a small and flexible unit with complex tasks where everyone is needed. About the Unit
Kalmar and Kronoberg Group (KRAG) in Växjö is responsible for training, organizing, and administering the two Home Guard battalions in Kalmar and Kronoberg counties under the Chief of Southern Military Region (MR S). KRAG also supports the activities of the voluntary defense organizations.
Main Responsibilities
In this position, you will, individually or with support from other employees, plan, conduct, and evaluate various types of exercises and courses at the MR Group. Additionally, you will conduct exercises with live and blank ammunition up to platoon size as an exercise leader. You will also serve as an operations leader. Furthermore, you will support other sections within the MR Group.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Completed officer education with at least level OF 1 or SO 7
- Good IT skills
- Category B driver's license, manual transmission

You have good ability to work in a team, are outgoing, and find it easy to collaborate with others. You have a high work capacity, are stress-resistant, and have good communication skills both verbally and in writing. You take responsibility, show initiative, and can translate theory into practice. Personal suitability is of great importance.

- Trained in SUSA (Swedish Armed Forces Basic First Aid)
- Served in company or battalion staff
- Field work service

- Exercise leader, KSP m/58, Grg m/48, p-skott m/86, Ak 5, AK 4B/C, Pist m/88, AKM4, AK24
- Driving permits PB 8, tgb11-20, Bv 206, and Lb
- Knowledge of the Home Guard and Voluntary Defense Organizations

Other Information
Employment type: Permanent position, military position, with an initial six-month probationary period if you do not already have an active Armed Forces employment.
Full-time. Evening and weekend duty may occur. Travel within Sweden with overnight stays may occur.

The Southern Military Region (MR S) is a war-time unit and an organizational unit where the Chief and Staff are located in Revingehed. The organization consists of the Chief with staff, five military region groups for training and support of the Home Guard, and approximately 7,000 Home Guard soldiers organized in eleven battalions and several independent units. C MR S with regional staff leads subordinate units, cooperates with regional and local actors, leads security and intelligence services, and supports operational and tactical commanders who carry out tasks within the region.

Employment with us involves placement in a security class. Swedish citizenship is usually required.
