About the client:

This involves a playful 6-year-old boy whom you will get to know and build a relationship with through play. As you gain his trust, he will open up more and more to you.

He enjoys chase games, often inviting you to play by taking your hat and running away. He also likes swinging in the park. Baking sticky chocolate cake is a daily activity he does with his family, and he would love to bake with you too. He has a limited vocabulary and communicates using picture support or TAKK (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).

The assignment takes place on certain weekdays from approx. 16:00–20:00, including evening routines and putting him to bed. On alternate weekends, the assignment is approx. 4 hours per occasion.

Qualifications and preferences for the relief worker:

We are looking for someone who is child-loving and playful, with a gentle and considerate approach. We prefer candidates who have experience with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) diagnoses, either through family or work, and who are comfortable with changing diapers. Living in Täby is preferred as the shifts are short (approx. 4 hours).

About the position:

The workload is approx. 21 hours/month. Shifts occur on certain weekdays from approx. 16:00–20:00 and on alternate weekends. Start date: ASAP.

As a relief worker, you relieve relatives, for example parents of a child with a disability, at home or in the local area. This can allow parents to have some personal time with other siblings.
