50% Work Capacity Assessments (Mellerud and Färgelanda, jointly funded via the Coordination Council)

Do you want to work with people who are far from the labor market and contribute to creating conditions for development, employment, and independence? We are now looking for a Occupational Therapist for a varied and meaningful assignment shared between two municipalities.

About the assignment

50% – Work Capacity Assessments via the Coordination Council

You will conduct work capacity assessments for individuals in the municipalities who are participating in a coordinated, funded initiative via the Coordination Council. The work includes:

• Structured activity and work capacity assessments.
• Mapping of cognitive, physical, and psychological prerequisites.
• Assessment of opportunities and barriers in relation to working life requirements.
• Documentation and feedback to the individual and relevant stakeholders.
• Collaboration with authorities and professions within a team.

The work takes place in two municipalities, and you plan and structure the assignment in dialogue with both.

Who are you?

You are a licensed Occupational Therapist with a strong interest in work-oriented rehabilitation. You are confident in your profession, structured, and have a natural ability to build relationships with people in various life situations.

We would appreciate if you have:

• Experience with work capacity assessments or activity assessments.
• Knowledge of mental health issues, neuropsychiatric disabilities, and/or cognitive difficulties.
• Experience in labor market initiatives, municipal operations, or interprofessional collaboration.
• The ability to work both independently and in a team.

Personal suitability is highly valued.

Other details

• The position is 50% and is based in Mellerud Municipality, with work performed in both municipalities according to an agreed distribution.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• The employment is a project appointment until December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension.
