We are looking for

We are looking for you with a Swedish nursing license and good knowledge of Swedish and English. Experience from outpatient clinic work as well as urological and/or surgical nursing is an advantage.

What you will work with

As a nurse at the urology clinic, you will have a varied job involving patient meetings with good support from your colleagues. In your work, you will encounter patients with various urological diseases, but your main focus will be on kidney stone diseases and cancers of the genitalia.

Together with doctors, you will help design and improve the care of kidney stone patients according to the new care program, where you will work with, among other things, support and follow-up. In this way, you will reduce the risk of relapse and suffering. You will also conduct follow-ups for cancer patients and serve as a key link for this group.

Your duties include:

• Support and follow-up for patients with kidney stones and genital cancer
• Counseling
• Sampling and treatment of patients with urological diseases
• Education in self-care

Rotation to the urological/surgical ward may occur by agreement, which provides further breadth to the professional role.

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position, daytime hours. Start date by agreement.

Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
