Are you a welder or workshop technician with industrial experience and looking for a new assignment immediately? At Manpower, we are currently seeking welders and workshop technicians for a consultancy assignment with a client in the manufacturing industry in Önnestad, outside Kristianstad. Here you will work in a modern workshop environment with both manual and automated tasks.

Location: Önnestad, Kristianstad
Start: Immediately
Duration: Fixed-term employment for 6 months with possibility of extension
Hours: Full-time, 2-shift system

About the role of Welder and Workshop Technician

In this assignment, you will become an important part of our client's production. Depending on the role, you will work either as a welder performing both manual welding and robot welding, or as a workshop technician handling assembly and finishing. The role requires technical understanding, attention to detail, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Responsibilities - Welder

• Manual welding (MIG/MAG)
• Operation and supervision of robot welding
• Reading technical drawings
• Quality control

Responsibilities - Workshop Technician

• Assembly of components
• Sanding and fine grinding
• Other workshop tasks
• Reading technical drawings

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who thrives in an industrial environment and is accustomed to practical work in production. You are responsible, detail-oriented, and have an easy time following instructions and working according to drawings. You can work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements for the position

To be considered for the Welder role, you must have:

• Training in welding
• At least 1 year of welding experience
• Knowledge of reading technical drawings
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• Category B driver's license and access to a car

To be considered for the Workshop Technician role, you must have:

• Experience in workshop work or industry
• Knowledge of reading technical drawings
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• Category B driver's license and access to a car

Having a forklift license is considered an asset.
