At Rohde & Schwarz, you will work with advanced technology in a stable and world-leading company within test and measurement technology. You will become part of a small Swedish team with close collaboration, high competence, and great freedom in daily work. The role offers a varied daily routine where you combine working on-site with customers and working from the office in Stockholm.

You will have the opportunity to work with instruments in the multi-million class at well-known technology companies within telecom, defense, and electronics. The role involves regular travel within Sweden and the Nordic region, and at times also to other parts of Europe in connection with customer projects and training. Depending on the assignment, the travels may sometimes involve longer consecutive stays in other locations.

This is a role for you who appreciate structure, responsibility, and independent work, but who at the same time wants to be part of a tightly knit team. Two people will be recruited for the role.

Your Responsibilities

As a Service Technician, you are responsible for service, calibration, and simpler repairs of electronic test and measurement instruments on-site with customers and in workshop environments. You work with both planned maintenance and troubleshooting in close dialogue with customers and colleagues.

You will among other things:

• Perform calibration and planned maintenance of RF and measurement instruments
• Car out simpler troubleshooting and repairs
• Install, assemble, and check test systems
• Document completed work and write service reports
• Work closely with customers and ensure high service levels
• Collaborate with colleagues in Sweden and international teams
• Participate in on-site projects with major customers within the telecom and defense industries
• Contribute to dialogue regarding service needs and technical solutions together with the sales team

You often work together with a colleague and receive training in both products and working methods.

Worth Knowing

The position is located in Stockholm, and you will operate from the office in southern Stockholm, but the majority of the work takes place on-site with customers. Travel occurs regularly within Sweden and the Nordic region, and sometimes also within Europe. Some periods may involve overnight stays and, in isolated cases, longer project trips.

You report functionally to the responsible manager in Sweden and work operationally together with international teams in Europe. Planning and assignments are coordinated partly from Germany.

Our Expectations

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in technology and experience from a technical environment where you have worked practically with service, troubleshooting, testing, calibration, or maintenance of electronic equipment. You do not need to be an engineer, but we believe you have a few years of experience from a similar role and feel comfortable working independently on-site with customers.

For the role, you need to have experience with RF-related test and measurement equipment or work in RF environments. You have, for example, worked with instruments such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, or other electronic test equipment connected to RF and measurement technology.

You have a basic understanding of electronics and measurement technology and are accustomed to technical documentation and reporting. Experience in service, calibration, or troubleshooting of technical equipment is important for the role.

As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented, and communicative. You thrive in a role where you combine technology, customer contact, and personal responsibility, and collaborate closely with both customers and colleagues.

We also see that you have:

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• A valid driver's license (Category B)
• The ability to travel for work
