Your Role

In the role of Maintenance Engineer within corrective maintenance, you will work in a team responsible for fault handling and follow-up within the local grid. The group acts as a crucial link between the control center, contractors, and Ellevio's customers during acute electricity-related disruptions and incidents.

The work involves handling incoming cases where faults have occurred in the grid, such as power outages, neutral faults, or other disruptions affecting customers' electrical installations and equipment. In some cases, disruptions may lead to damage to customer equipment, such as TVs, refrigerators, and freezers, which may also involve incident and liability investigations.

When an urgent case arises, the control center makes an initial assessment and carries out temporary measures if necessary to quickly restore electricity supply. The corrective maintenance group then takes over remaining measures, investigations, and follow-up of the case.

The role involves many contact points and close collaboration with the control center, technicians, contractors, and internal functions.

Responsibilities

• Coordination and follow-up with external contractors
• Receiving and handling incoming cases from the control center via the Bosse system
• Investigation and allocation of responsibility between customer and grid owner
• Creating incident reports and documentation
• Analyzing images, field information, and technical data from incoming cases
• Contact with technicians, the control center, and the customer organization if necessary
• Follow-up of measures and ensuring that work is completed correctly

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• Technical understanding and electrical knowledge, preferably within local grids, lines, and substations
• Education in electrical power, such as an electrical engineer degree, preferably with a focus on local grids
• Ability to work in a structured and investigative manner to find the right information and solve problems
• A service-minded and solution-oriented approach to work
• Good communication skills and experience collaborating with various functions and contractors
• Interest in troubleshooting and technical issues within the electricity grid
• Ability to ask the right questions and drive cases forward
• Experience working with local grids, cabling, and smaller substations is an advantage

This is a consultancy assignment based in Stockholm or Karlstad, where you will be employed by Clevry and work as a consultant at Ellevio. The start date is immediate or as agreed, and you are offered an initial contract of 12 months. The position is full-time, and you will work weekdays during office hours. We will conduct reference checks, a credit check, and a background check.
