Together we are developing the inpatient care for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry on Ward 40 D. We are now looking for you who want to be part of our team and contribute to developing person-centered care and treatment for children and young people. Here, you will have the opportunity to work with evidence-based guidelines and care programs. We have a county assignment with 6 care beds and operate under the Health and Medical Services Act and the Act on Psychiatric Compulsory Care.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who are trained as a nurse assistant (skötare) or auxiliary nurse (undersköterska), or have equivalent education within healthcare. We prefer that you have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Previous experience working in child or adult psychiatry is an advantage.

We place great importance on personal qualities. As a person, you have a high degree of personal maturity and are stable, able to remain calm in pressured and stressful situations. You also have good teamwork skills and value collaboration highly. Furthermore, we look for someone with a holistic perspective, understanding your own role while keeping the best interests of the operation in mind in your actions and decisions.

What you will work with

As a nurse assistant here, you form an important part of psychiatric nursing care. You are part of a multidisciplinary team where you, as a nurse assistant, have a central and important role. You will, among other things, work with supportive conversations, psychoeducation, perform sample collections, monitor vital parameters, carry out supervision, and work with medical records in Cosmic. You will also have close collaboration with guardians. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for maintaining a good working environment on the care unit. Your attitude and efforts are crucial for the operation to be characterized by calm, security, good care, and nursing according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) and the Act on Psychiatric Compulsory Care (LPT).

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position with start date by agreement. The working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and nights. Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
