We are now looking for a security guard who will have a central and visible role in one of the region's most visited shopping centers. As a stationed security guard, you are a natural part of the center's daily pulse — you move right in the flow of visitors, store staff, and service personnel, and are always close by when someone needs support, guidance, or peace of mind.

In this role, you become an important representative for both the customer and our operations. You work closely with the center management, who see you as a key person in their security work. This means you are often the first to pick up on information, observe changes in the environment, and contribute with professional security assessments.

You will also have ongoing contact with store staff, who often turn to you for support in everything from minor incidents to more complex situations. Your presence makes a big difference in their work environment, and you function as a stable partner who creates security by being both present and accessible.

For visitors, you are a welcoming face and a safe point in everyday life. Many will meet you in information situations, in guiding conversations, or just in passing when you are patrolling. Here, your social competence and calm demeanor play a big role — you actively contribute to creating a positive overall experience of the center.

Qualifications

We are looking for trained security guards who are security-conscious, service-oriented, empathetic, and have inner security and a natural drive to want to help. You must be a trained security guard with a valid security guard permit.

In addition to the personal qualities we seek and describe in the various assignments, you must meet basic requirements to qualify for the position:

• High school diploma
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
• Category B driver's license
• Completed security guard training within the last three years with a passing grade

You must also be unconvicted*, drug-free, have a sound economy, as well as good health and physical condition to be employed at Avarn Security.
