RESPONSIBILITIES

As a vehicle workshop mechanic/repairer, you will work with varied tasks such as service and maintenance of vehicles in many different categories (tractors, wheel loaders, cars, lawnmowers, etc.), vehicle equipment, motorized hand tools, tire changes, minor sheet metal and paint damage, and vehicle pre-inspections. Perform welding work using wire, stick, and gas welding. You should have good knowledge of workshop and vehicle mechanics. Planning and ordering of service, inspections, and spare parts for various vehicles. During winter, you will also be part of an emergency team for snow and ice control.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have experience in similar work and possess as broad knowledge as possible of the various tasks.

As a person, you are social, positive, and quick to adapt when urgent matters arise. The job places high demands on self-drive, the ability to work independently, a service-oriented attitude, and maintaining high quality in the work you perform.

Education

• Completed and approved upper secondary education.

Merits

• Electric vehicle license (E-körkort)
• Training in hot work
• Road work experience
• Chainsaw certification
• Experience driving tractors, implement carriers, and wheel loaders
• Completed wheel loader training
• Basic computer skills
• Experience working in the public sector

Previous experience, your personal qualities, and suitability are highly valued.

Category B driver's license is required.

A trial employment period of 6 months may apply. On-call duties are included in the position.

Start date by agreement.

Salary: Monthly salary.
