BHV Nurse at Gustavsbergs Child Health Centre – We are now offering a permanent position where you will become part of our dedicated team in Värmdö!

About Us:

Gustavsbergs Child Health Centre (BVC) is located in newly renovated premises, beautifully situated in Gustavsberg harbour with a view of the sea, approximately 25 minutes from Slussen. The BVC is located next door to Gustavsberg University Health Centre, which we are part of. At the BVC, we are seven dedicated and experienced BHV nurses. Gustavsbergs BVC is part of the Värmdö Family Centre, collaborating closely with the Hamnen clinic – advice and support for families with children in Värmdö Municipality, Gustavsberg’s midwife clinic, and the open preschools at Gustavsberg Centre and Hemmesta Centre. The medical clinics are staffed by experienced doctors from Gustavsberg University Health Centre.

Buses depart from Slussen every ten minutes – travel time approx. 25–30 minutes.

Qualifications:

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with further education in child and adolescent health, or a district nurse. Previous experience working at a Child Health Centre is meritorious, and a strong interest in child health care is a must. A driving license is a requirement for the position.

Personal qualities:

You are independent, structured, and accustomed to taking personal responsibility. You have a professional and friendly approach. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment type:

Permanent position with start date according to agreement. 80–100 %. Scheduled working hours during daytime, Monday–Friday. Probationary period may apply.

The position will be filled subject to the condition that it does not need to be taken for internal reassignment, according to current regulations.

For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Healthcare Region (SLSO):

  • A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO’s overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment health examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services prior to employment.
  • In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
