We are now looking for a Timber Buyer who wants to become part of our team in the Local Purchasing function. As a Timber Buyer, you will play a central role in promoting active, profitable, and environmentally sound forestry among private forest owners. In this role, you are a reliable partner who shares valuable advice and innovative solutions that not only make it easier for landowners but also create a fun and successful forest owner experience.

You will become a valuable member of our team where we work together to achieve a high quality of service for our customers. At the same time, the role will require independent work, including field work, meetings with forest owners, and office work. You will operate within an established geography with a stable and established customer base that is well acquainted with our service. The job offers a high degree of flexibility, allowing you to plan and manage your working day yourself.

Your daily work involves active contact and dialogue with private forest owners. By listening and understanding their needs, you will be able to offer our diverse services in areas such as harvesting and forest care. You are also a key cog in the internal process that ensures our commitments to customers are fulfilled as agreed. You thus become the link between our company and the forest owners, making your role both rewarding and significant.

The purchasing area we are looking for is Smedjebacken and Söderbärke with surroundings, and the office location is in Ludvika. You report to the Market Area Manager for Local Purchasing.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who have a solid grounding in the forestry sector and are motivated by, and feel safe and comfortable with, doing business. You enjoy contacting new people and have the ability to create trust and confidence. Your interest in service and building long-term relationships is highly valued!

Skills and qualifications we believe you have:

• Forestry education and/or professional experience in the field
• Sales experience
• Ease in functioning in social contexts with good communication skills
• A drive to achieve goals and results
• Good computer skills and administrative ability
• You handle the Swedish language fluently in speech and writing
• Category B driver's license
