Working as a machine operator at Polykemi AB means producing customized plastic granules with high demands for quality and precision. Production takes place in extrusion machines where you are responsible for mixing raw materials, reinforcements, additives, and pigments to the correct composition.

The work is practical and requires you to be present throughout the process. You follow the production step by step, check the results, and ensure that the material meets the required properties based on customer specifications.

In collaboration with supervisors or colleagues, you make decisions regarding machine settings and make adjustments during ongoing production. This may involve fine-tuning temperatures, flows, or material mixtures to achieve the right quality and color.

The role requires responsibility and an eye for detail. You need to be able to act when something deviates and have a desire to understand what affects the final result.
