As a Component Engineer, you have a key role in ensuring that every single component meets the highest standards. You work at the interface between development, purchasing, and production, which gives you a broad network both internally and externally. Your daily work involves navigating between technical details, international regulatory requirements, and practical problem-solving in production. This is a role for you who thrives with technical depth but also wants to understand the entire supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for reviewing and handpicking electronic parts where you weigh technical capacity against budget frameworks and long-term sustainability.
• Break down and translate complex regulations from global bodies into practical guidelines for our tailored technical solutions.
• Act as a technical expert during disruptions in the production line by reviewing measurement data and determining the root cause of quality deviations.
• Use calculation models to predict component behavior over time and collaborate with external partners to guarantee uninterrupted material supply.
• Contribute to the introduction of next-generation manufacturing methods to optimize the handling of advanced electronics.

We are looking for you who

• Have a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Technical Physics, or equivalent.
• Have a good basic knowledge of how different electronic components perform in harsh environments, preferably in a role close to production.
• Are familiar with how logistics and material chains work and feel confident using large business systems as working tools (we see it as a big plus if you have experience with SAP).
• Are proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as both languages are used in daily work.
• The position requires security clearance where Swedish citizenship is a requirement.
